To celebrate Socktober and to encourage you to brave the waters of sock knitting, I’ve brought you my favorite easy sock knitting patterns to inspire your yarny dreams this month.
Sock knitting is one of those things that many knitters find intimidating. I was one of them until I tried knitting socks last year and discovered I enjoyed it! Knitted socks usually look more daunting than they are, and you’re rewarded at the end with a beautiful, functional pair of socks that you’ll want to wear all the time.

“You know you can just buy socks, right?” Yes, I’m aware you can buy socks at the store. However, hand-knit socks are so much better than store-bought ones. Why? They fit, they’re comfy, they’re fancy, they’re any color you want, and they don’t have to match! What’s not to love about that?
Whether you’ve been knitting for years or have only just caught the knitting bug, every knitter simply must try making a pair of cozy knitted socks!
From chunky knitted socks that are perfect for snuggling up in on cold winter days, to glamorous lace ones that are just made for showing off, you’re bound to find your perfect pair in my favorite picks below!
