27 Loom Knitting Patterns

A lot of knitters do not like looms because they think they limit their creativity. But looms can be used to create a wide variety of projects. If you enjoy loom knitting as much as I do, take a look at the list of loom knitting patterns I have gathered.

Below are 27 loom knitting patterns. I have included patterns for everyone from newborns to adults and even pets.

The Brighton Beanie is a beginner-friendly loom knitting pattern. The hat is super easy to make. Once you make one, you will want to make one in every colour.

This beanie can be made on the 66 peg Boye’s Light Weight Yarn Round Loom, or the All N One loom. The hat requires approximately 250 yards of a worsted weight yarn.

2. Winter Woodlands Throw by Knitting Board

Not all look patterns are round. You can make this gorgeous throw using a 28” knitting board with peg extenders or a 38” knitting board.

The finished throw blanket will measure about 34 inches (86.36 cm) x 44 inches (111.76 cm). The stitches used include rib, stockinette, and honeycomb. It is an intermediate level pattern.

3. Loom Knit Hood With Cowl Pattern by ThisMomentisGood

Fingerless gloves are ideal for anyone that needs the use of their fingers on cold winter days. The fingerless gloves are stylish, warm, and fun to wear.

The Messy Bun hat would be great for anyone who needs to keep warm while keeping their ponytail or bun intact.

The is one of the best free loom knitting patterns I could find. The finished hat looks super cute and professional. It is knit on a KB hat loom with 40 pegs using approximately 90 yards of bulky weight acrylic/wool yarn.

9. Loom Knitting Pattern Tube Socks on a Circular Round Knitting Loom by Loomahat

Using a small 5-6 inch diameter loom with 24 pegs, you can make a pair of tube socks. The socks make great gifts for men and women. The socks will fit most adults.

This is an advanced beginner level loom knitting pattern. You only need to know e-wrap, u-wrap, and purl. The socks require about 350 yards of worsted weight yarn.
