Pumpkin Knitting Pattern
I LOVE FALL! Every year when the leaves change colors and the temperature becomes crisp and cool, my soul feels recharged!
Because of that, I love surrounding myself with decorations that reflect the colors of fall. I buy candles that smell like apple orchards and pumpkins. I hang leafy garlands with plum, rust and golden-hued chrysanthemums.
And most importantly, the hearth of my fireplace and my front porch will be filled with pumpkins, both real and fake.
When I was a little girl, my great-great-aunt knitted a bright orange jack-o-lantern for Halloween that we put out every year. I loved that jack-o-lantern.
This year I decided to add some knitted pumpkins that can last for the entire season in my favorite fall colors.
The patterns we’ve found for the pumpkins are great on their own or mixed together. Both patterns have instructions for three different sizes of pumpkins. The pattern by Deniza17 makes cable knit pumpkins, whereas the pattern by Emmacrochetdesign4U makes stockinette stitch pumpkins.
Putting the pumpkins together from both patterns creates an interesting mix of texture!

They are quick to make and seem to be fairly simple. It looks as though the entire project is worked in stockinette stitch.

Pumpkin Knitting Pattern #2
