1. Dolls Clothes Knitting Patterns by Knitting Little Design
Here’s a pattern for a Scandinavian-style pullover sweater and ear-flap hat to fit an 18 inch doll similar to American Girl dolls.
The sweater has a knit-in placket opening with buttonholes at the back of the neck. Body and sleeves are knit from the bottom up and in the round separately to underarm then joined for the yoke.
A placket opening using intarsia technique is created at the back, beginning at the start of the yoke and the stranded fair isle yoke is worked flat back and forth with both knit and purl rows. The cuffs and hem of the sweater are knit in 2-color corrugated rib.

Cabbagetown Jacket is knit seamlessly, from the top down, in sport weight yarn. No sewing up is required! Knit a classic jacket in a solid or heathered color or use a self-patterning yarn for a different, fun look.
The jacket buttons up the front with working buttons and buttonholes. The collar and body of the jacket are knit back and forth, and the sleeves are knit in the round.
The jacket will fit 18”-19” soft body play dolls. The jackets in the pattern are shown on American Girl and Maplelea dolls. Because the jacket is knit from the top down, it is easy to change the body and sleeve length to fit your particular doll.
